and speaking of giant bunnies…

… I saw the above giant carrot on the wooster collective today, and if it were possible to marry a work of art and buy a starter home with it and spend hours together on our porch sipping ice coffee and watching the rain, I would do it with this carrot-tree (found in antwerp belgium).

okay, i see pretty much two major problems with this.
1st, why does this have to be in belgium? it should totally be down the st from me. and when i travel, it should totally travel with me as well.
2nd, why in bloody hell do they not have a larger picture of this glorious object? Some of us would need to eat a carrot as large as that to even consider saying we can see well.
effing bastards….
but thank you for confirming that i need to visit belgium.
@ meridith: thank you for the post and lovely words.
we made the carrot as a viral for the local carrotmob this last august. it was all over the local newspapers and since marc posted it on wooster, it seems to be going around on the net.
@ randyhate: you can see much more and bigger pictures on our blog. there’s even a little timelapse of ‘the making of’, just go to http://www.beshart.be/blog (all in dutch i’m afraid)
cheers
the beshart crew
@beshart: oh that I could read dutch, but really, your work transcends language – thanks for sharing!
AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY HERE AS WELL. May your donkey be giftiest of all, dear Meredith.
